I just finished a Star Trek Movie Marathon. Believe it or not, I think I'm sick of Star Trek for the time being.

Well now! What to watch AFTER a Trek Marathon.

We shall watch Sci-Fi GOLD, The Trippiest of all Trippy Movies....2001! Its been so long since I've watched it, and I recently re-read the book. We will, also, watch 2010, the sequel, because it was $6.99 at Future Shop and Helen Mirren has a bad Russian accent

A while ago, I picked a bunch of girl's names I liked (Ezri and Majel are my two current faves, along with Quetzalxochitl, but that one is a bit cruel...) but I was lost when it came to boy names (on a facebook quiz, I picked James, Theodore and Andrew). But, I've found one I really like: Keir.

Keir Dullea was Dave Bowman in 2001 and 2010. Yes, twenty years later, they got the same actor. They had a wonderful makeup artist: Bowman didn't look like he aged a day.
You all have no idea who I'm talking about...do you?


Funny story, I got a Tribble today, and I named him Keir. Him and my other tribble, Barrett are going to have a Tribble Party (explained here: [link])

Also, in my nerd quests, I'm attempting to compile a 2001 Fanmix.

2. Cosmos (Outer Space)-t.A.T.u. (well d'uh, the movie is IN SPACE)
(possibly 3.) Domo Arigato Mr Roboto (for HAL of course!)
